Each of our Angelfish are sent to you double-bagged in two-millimeter thick bags. They are shipped in heated Styrofoam boxes. Each box can hold about twenty-five, quarter size angelfish. Shipments are sent out Mondays - Thrusday all year round with exception of holidays. Live delivery is always guaranteed at WaynesWorld.

Door to door express overnight shipping by Federal Express is available to almost any location in the United States . Rates are calculated by weight and distance and usually range from $30 to $60 dollars and are subject to change. Please inquire for a quote.

Packaging

 I take great care in packing my fish. I make sure that there is little chance for error in communication with both the shipping company and the buyer. I ship on Monday thru Thursday to make sure that there are never any weekend problems. I ship my fish using oxygen, bag buddies and heat packs. The fish are also fasted 2 days prior to shipping to reduce waste matter in the bags. Having a business background I know that customer service is the number one aspect of selling anything, even fish. As a seller I will give you the best communication that I can offer, followed by the highest class angelfish that I own. Live Arrival Guaranteed

 Any D.O.A. (dead on arrival) must be reported to us within 12 hours upon arrival. If your purchase does not arrive alive, we will replace it free (excluding packaging and shipping) as long as the following procedure is followed:

You must take immediate action of your order upon its arrival.
If no one answers when you call, just send us an e-mail to establish the time of death and then call us during business hours for your authorization. Never dispose of or return a fish without authorization.
If we ask you to return the specimen, you must put the specimen in a plastic bag without water, add some salt to the bag, seal the bag and return it by USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation to us.

Returns must be postmarked within 72 hours of receiving the authorization.
We will also credit your return postage ($4.00). Guarantee applies to original shipment only, not replacement items. Shipping and box charges are not included in this guarantee. No credit card refunds will be made at any circumstances.

Acclimating your new Angelfish

When your fish arrive home, siphon two inches of aquarium water into a five gallon clean bucket. Open the shipping bags and empty the entire contents into the bucket, with up to ten angels per container. Using an airline hose, create a siphon from the quarantine tank into the bucket. Tie a loose knot so water is dripping about 1 drop per second. Flow rate can be controlled by either tightening or loosening the knot. Once the bucket is no less than 3/4's full, (about 3 hours) you may transfer the fish to their quarantine tank. Using a clean net, remove the fish from the bucket and place them in the tank. Leave the lights off and let the angelfish get used to their new surroundings. Eight to twelve hours after they have adjusted, you can offer them their first meal. Frozen bloodworms are an excellent first choice.

Always Remember Anytime you receive new fish, it is wise to quarantine them in their own tank for four to 6 weeks. All hoses and nets should be kept separate or soaked in a Clorox bleach solution, making sure to rinse and let dry thoroughly. Before adding new fish to your existing stock it is wise to introduce a resident fish to the new arrivals. After one or two weeks, if all fish remain healthy, they can then be safely added to your existing stock.
